Goals and objectives

The main goal of the network is to encourage employers in hiring, keeping and developing people with different types of disabilities and/or disadvantages, as well as to make their products and services accessible to all customers from the mentioned target groups through:

- Providing information, support and guidance for employers, related to employment and keeping of people with disadvantages and disabilities. This includes review of: hiring and selection of staff, opportunities for career development, keeping and development of staff, access to working place and environment.
- Encouraging and guiding local companies and organizations (state-owned and private) to review the services they provide, to test the access of disadvantaged and disabled people to their products, facilities and services.
- Providing communication means for local companies within the network to exchange experience and share practices and experience.
- Providing businessmen with suitable updated information and consultation related to benefits for employers of people with disabilities and disadvantaged, statistic data, and examples, governmental support (programmes and funding) concerning disadvantaged and disabled people.
- Connecting companies with local organizations of disadvantaged and disabled people as sources of potential employees as well as expert information and advice about specific obstacle, barriers and challenges they face.
- Creating data base of employers involved in this network and disadvantaged and disabled people looking for a job.
